Rob Madayag is asking for your support in his campaign for the CCSD Post 5. Rob has been married to Rebecca Madayag for over 19 years. He is the father to three of the most amazing gifts from God: Kitty (14) - Sprayberry High School; Robert “RAM” (13) - Simpson Middle School; and Max (10) - Kincaid Elementary.
Rob is a veteran of the US Navy. After boot camp and nuclear power training in Orlando, Florida and Windsor, Connecticut, Rob was assigned as a reactor operator on board the USS Silversides (SSN-679) in Norfolk, Virginia and the USS Kentucky (SSBN-737, Blue Crew) in Kings Bay, Georgia. Rob is also the son, nephew, and cousin to Army and Marine Corps veterans.
After receiving his honorable discharge from the Navy, Rob attended Georgia Tech and got out of Tech with his Bachelor of Sciences in Chemical Engineering. While interning for an IBM Fellow in Poughkeepsie, New York, Rob decided to become a patent attorney, eventually receiving his Juris Doctorate from the University of Villanova Law School. Currently, he practices patent and corporate law in a nationwide law firm.
Rob and his family are actively involved in the school district and its various activities. Rob’s two sons have played youth and junior football for years. Ram has also played soccer and has been in his school's orchestra since 6th grade. Rob’s daughter has cheered since elementary school and has been in the school orchestra since middle school. Rebecca has been a cheer coach for almost 10 years and has served on the PTSA Board for Simpson for several years. Rob has coached and, for years, mc’ed home games for his sons’ teams as well as the Sprayberry freshman and JV home games.
At the end of the day, Rob is a parent, not a politician. If you are looking for someone that will look at you as an equal, that will listen to you and not judge you, and above all, will have an open mind and heart, then please vote for Rob.
